- Master article: List of wild Pokémon from in-game events
| | This section is incomplete. Delight experience free to edit this section to add missing information and consummate information technology. Reason: Are effort values awarded in mandatory captures? Practise rematches also apply for wild Mythical Pokémon? Stakataka/Blacephalon in USUM: do they reappear if defeated? |
In all games, existence defeated by a Legendary Pokémon does not cause it to disappear. In all games in which roaming Pokémon exist, fleeing from them does not cause them to permanently disappear; the game simply behaves the same every bit if they were the ones to flee.
Prior to Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, fleeing from stationary Legendary Pokémon causes the Pokémon to permanently disappear.
In Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald, if the player flees from a stationary Legendary Pokémon, it volition reappear upon leaving and re-inbound the room. The game informs the player that "The <Pokémon> flew away!". If the player defeats an outcome exclusive Legendary/Mythical Pokémon, it reappears after the histrion side by side enters the Hall of Fame.
In Pokémon Platinum, if the player defeats or flees from a stationary Legendary Pokémon, information technology reappears afterward the histrion adjacent enters the Hall of Fame. If the role player defeats a roaming Pokémon, it will reappear only after the actor has re-triggered the event which caused it to starting time roaming; for example, the thespian must talk to Professor Oak to cause a Legendary bird to resume roaming. If the role player flees from or defeats Origin Forme Giratina in the Distortion World, information technology will reappear in Turnback Cavern in its Altered Forme, where it behaves in the same way equally all other stationary Legendary Pokémon.
This was extended to all stationary Pokémon (cherry-red Gyarados, Sudowoodo, and Snorlax) in HeartGold and SoulSilver. If Suicune is defeated or fled from, Eusine will comment on this fact, and information technology volition instead reappear at the Burned Belfry, where information technology behaves in the same way as all other stationary Legendary Pokémon. If Ho-Oh HG or Lugia SS is defeated or fled from during the storyline, the Kimono Girls will annotate on this fact earlier leaving; notwithstanding, the Pokémon however behave like any other stationary Pokémon.
In Pokémon Black and White, Reshiram B or Zekrom W must be caught; defeating, fleeing from or losing to the Pokémon does not cause it to disappear, the battle yields no experience, and the story cannot exist progressed until it is caught. However, if the actor has a full party and PC, it is possible to progress without catching it, in which instance it instead appears at Dragonspiral Belfry after defeating Ghetsis, where it behaves in the same way as all other stationary Legendary Pokémon, except that information technology will nonetheless non requite any feel points.
In Pokémon X and Y, Xerneas X or Yveltal Y must be defenseless; defeating, fleeing from or losing to information technology does not cause it to disappear, the battle yields no experience, and the story cannot exist progressed until it is caught. The 31st box in the Pokémon Storage Organization does non get available until after the player catches information technology, and then it is not possible to avoid the capture even if the player's party and PC are both full.
In Pokémon Omega Carmine and Alpha Sapphire, if the histrion defeats Groudon OR or Kyogre AS instead of catching them in the main story, they volition reappear in the Cave of Origin after entering the Hall of Fame. During the Delta Episode, Rayquaza must exist defenseless; defeating, fleeing from or losing to it does not cause it to disappear, the battle yields no experience, and the story cannot exist progressed until it is caught. The 31st box in the Pokémon Storage System does not become bachelor until after the player catches Rayquaza, so it is non possible to avoid the capture even if the histrion's party and PC are both total. If the player flees from or defeats Deoxys in during the Delta Episode, it will reappear at the Dragonhark altar atop the Heaven Pillar after entering the Hall of Fame again, where it behaves in the aforementioned style equally all other stationary Legendary Pokémon.
In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Solgaleo S or Lunala Yard must be defenseless; defeating, fleeing from or losing to it does not crusade it to disappear, the battle yields no feel, and the story cannot be progressed until it is caught. The 31st box in the Pokémon Storage System does not become available until after the player catches the Legendary Pokémon. If the thespian defeats, flees from, or loses to Tapu Koko instead of catching it during the postal service-credits event, Lillie will comment on this fact, and Tapu Koko will immediately exist bachelor to battle again at the Ruins of Conflict. If the actor defeats, flees from or loses to a roaming Ultra Brute or Necrozma, it will continue to reappear in the area until it is caught (the game reassures the player that it is still in the area).
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Solgaleo US or Lunala UM must be caught for it to disappear; defeating, fleeing from or losing to it does not cause it to disappear and the boxing yields no experience. The 31st box in the Pokémon Storage System does not become bachelor until after the player catches the Legendary Pokémon.
